1. Document Security & Deletion
We understand that the documents you upload may contain highly sensitive or confidential information. Therefore, our system is designed with a privacy-first approach:
- Automatic Deletion: All files uploaded to our servers, as well as the translated output files, are automatically and permanently deleted from our system within 1 hour after processing.
- No Storage: We do not store, index, or extract data from your documents for any purpose other than facilitating the immediate translation.
- No Human Access: The entire translation process is fully automated by AI. No human employee or third party will ever read or access your documents.
2. Third-Party Services
To provide high-quality document translation, we utilize the Google Translate API. The text extracted from your document is sent securely to Google for translation. Please note that data processed through the API is subject to Google's strict enterprise privacy policies, which prohibit them from using your data to train their models.
3. Log Files
DocTranslate follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable.
